Rece Hoyt Goes Supernova in Lone Star Win
Rece Hoyt's big game helped extend Lone Star's winning streak to seven on Friday. Hoyt turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 156 yards and a touchdown while completing 86.4% of his passes.
Lone Star pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Hoyt and Lone Star will face off against Wakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Sadly, Adam Schmid posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Centennial over Reedy on Thursday. Schmid threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.

Vincent Hooper posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 113 yards and three touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 56 yards.
