Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Milken

Milken waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) Panthers 10-3. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2025.

Jordan Brown was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

In other pitching news, Benjamin Bedil tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

Back at the plate, Jared Dunn and Joey Schwartz did most of the damage at the plate: Dunn went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Schwartz went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Milken is 3-1 when Dunn posts two or more runs, but 4-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Max Ballard, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Milken's record now sits at 7-10. As for Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA), they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Milken will take on Providence at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
