The Paradise Bobcats suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 70-39 defeat at the hands of Durham. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Paradise has suffered against Durham since December 3, 2019.
Durham was led to victory by Karla Rangel and Payton Santos. Rangel scored 17 points, while Santos scored 22 points. Santos is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Pezzetti, who scored eight points.
Paradise has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Durham, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.
Paradise will be playing in front of their home fans against East Nicolaus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Nicolaus is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Durham, they will challenge Winters at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
