Calvary Day extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Providence Christian Academy. They blew past the Storm 7-1. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won 19 matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Cutter Powell made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out eight batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   six  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run. That  home run was  his first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Waylan Heidik and  Brody Dawson did most of the damage at the plate:  Heidik  went 2-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI, while  Dawson  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Dalton Kelley, who  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with one  run.
The  win was  the 12th in a row for Calvary Day, bringing their record up to 27-7. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Providence Christian Academy, their defeat  ended  a  13-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 30-7.
As of now, neither Calvary Day nor the Storm have any future games scheduled.
