It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 57-17, which was the final score in Willits's tilt against McKinleyville on Friday. Willits has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
They used a three-pronged attack on offense:
Hazel Cooke,
Elena Arkelian, and
Mia Chavez posted four points each.
Willits' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for McKinleyville, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Willits is on the road again on Saturday and play against Hoopa Valley at 1:00 p.m. on December 2nd. McKinleyville and Arcata will face off at 2:30 p.m. on December 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
