The Roseville Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to Wheatland 37-31.
Wheatland found their leader in underclassman Michaela Davis, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least 25% of Wheatland's points. Reagan Clancy was another key contributor, scoring six points along with four steals.
Roseville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Wheatland, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roseville will square off against Granite Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Granite Bay presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Roseville in California (Granite Bay is ranked 281st, while Roseville is ranked 1016th). Wheatland and Live Oak will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
