North Monterey County has gone 9-1 against Greenfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Condors will look to defend their home field against the Bruins at 4:00 p.m. North Monterey County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.
On Monday, North Monterey County needed a bit of extra time to put away Rancho San Juan. They had just enough and edged out the Trailblazers 9-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Condors.

Ryder Allen and Brody Gates made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Allen tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Gates struck out eight batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. At bat, Allen went 2-for-6 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Gates went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Gates has become a key player for North Monterey County: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-8 otherwise.
In other batting news, Peter Patton was incredible, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Alex Cruz was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
North Monterey County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Greenfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against Everett Alvarez by a score of 6-1 on Thursday. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
The team relied heavily on Isaac Ramos, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Trujillo, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.
North Monterey County now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Greenfield, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. North Monterey County has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Greenfield struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
North Monterey County beat Greenfield 11-6 in their previous meeting back in March. Do the Condors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bruins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
