The Palm Springs Indians will hit the road for the first time this season to  face off against  the Arroyo Valley Hawks  at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Arroyo Valley took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Palm Springs, who comes in off a win.
Palm Springs saw some tournament action  on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Polytechnic, sneaking past  7-6.

 Rogelio Jacquez was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-low in  hits. He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4. What's more,  he posted two  hits, the most he's  had since back in March of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Sean Meza was  incredible,  going 2-for-5 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  RBI.
Meanwhile, Arroyo Valley came up short against Jurupa Valley on Saturday and fell  10-6. The loss was the Hawks' first of the season.
  Jorge Reyes was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Michael Rosas, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Arroyo Valley  fell to 2-1. As for Palm Springs,  the  victory  got them back to even at 1-1.
