Riverton fell victim to Beardstown and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Tigers.

Riverton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Beardstown, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3-2.

Looking ahead, Riverton will head out to square off against Hillsboro at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Beardstown, they will take on Macomb at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
