The Chandler Wolves will head out on the road to challenge the Basha Bears at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Chandler is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
Chandler took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Hamilton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolves sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Huskies on Monday.
Chandler got a great performance from Zayden Peltz as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Peltz has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Devan Wilson was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Basha won against Hamilton on Thursday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Bears narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Horizon 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.
Ryan Bresaw looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Basha: the team is 4-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 6-8-1 otherwise.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Clayton Cooper, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Garrido, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Basha always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The win got Basha back to even at 10-10-1. As for Chandler, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 15-8.
Chandler's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's matchup. The Wolves have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Basha, though, as they've been averaging only 1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Chandler continue to outrun the ball?
