Elbert County waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. Everything went their way against Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy as they made off with a 16-1 victory. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by eight runs or more this season.

Elbert County's win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-18.

Coming up, Elbert County will head out to take on Thomson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
