Despite the loss, John Adams Academy still got an impressive performance from Elliott Schwartz, who scored 44 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Schwartz scored a full 78.6% of John Adams Academy's points, the 16th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Acacia Loftis, who scored no points along with six steals.
Fortune Early College's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zakiyyah Abdul - Azeem, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. The match was Abdul - Azeem's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alaziah "Lay" Akinmurele, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
