The Palmdale Aerospace Academy has struggled against Desert Christian recently, as their matchup on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Desert Christian found their leader in underclassman Corynn Smith, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Smith scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Abigail Williams, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
The Palmdale Aerospace Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Desert Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-5.
