The Norristown Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Methacton Warriors at 6:45 p.m. Norristown is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Thursday, Norristown didn't have too much trouble with Upper Perkiomen at home as they won 50-36. The victory was just what Norristown needed coming off of a 73-20 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Methacton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Perkiomen Valley at home and fell 66-30. Methacton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-19.
Norristown's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Methacton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.
Norristown was dealt a bruising 62-25 defeat at the hands of Methacton in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Norristown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
