The Faith Christian Academy Lions were the 52-34 winner over the Renaissance Academy Knights when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Faith Christian Academy fell 35-25 to Renaissance Academy on Thursday.
Renaissance Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dallis Stewart out in front who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Stewart is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Saydi Daye was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Faith Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Renaissance Academy, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Jenkintown the next time they take the court. Renaissance Academy will host Jenkintown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Faith Christian Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
