Granite Hills owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They blew past the Academy for Academic Excellence Knights 8-0. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Vincent Jarvis made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched.
