St. Joseph owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 16-0 win over the Ridgefield Tigers. The Cadets haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

St. Joseph now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Ridgefield, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After each having a week off, St. Joseph and Darien will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 1:30 p.m. on the 25th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cadets 12.2, the Blue Wave 13) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Ridgefield, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bridgeport Central at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Tigers are facing the Hilltoppers at the right time seeing as the Hilltoppers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
