Meanwhile, Carlmont didn't have quite enough to beat Hillsdale on Friday and fell 3-2.
Carlmont saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Massey, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Menlo-Atherton's record is now 9-4. As for Carlmont, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
