It was another big night for Kemba Brown, who scored 23 points. The game was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nymira Bryant, who scored 13 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Parkway West and bumps their season record up to 2-4. As for Overbrook, they bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
Parkway West will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on String Theory at 3:15 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
