The St. Anthony Saints are taking a road trip to  take on the La Salle Lancers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. St. Anthony is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.2  points per game  this season.
Last Monday, St. Anthony ended up a good deal behind Esperanza and lost  66-51. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

 La Salle got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They came out on top against St. Mary's Academy by a score of  49-36  on Tuesday. Given the Lancers' advantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 33rd, while the Belles are ranked 183rd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 St. Anthony's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for La Salle, their win bumped their record up to 17-4.
 Everything came up roses for St. Anthony against La Salle in their previous meeting  back in January of 2024, as the  team secured  a  58-20 victory. In that  game, St. Anthony amassed a halftime lead of  34-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat  on Thursday.
