Hoban slipped by the Tarblooders 12-9 while St. Edward scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to win 28-14.

The freshman is the brother of former Mater Dei national champion quarterback Elijah Brown, now at Stanford. Senior Alabama commits Matthews and Griffin have combined for 11 sacks. Junior Clemson quarterback pledge Hughley, a four-star, has 26 total touchdowns while running back Newkirk is over 1,000 yards on the ground with 15 trips to the end zone.

Ensworth has the squad capable of breaking its five-game losing streak to Baylor that dates back to 2019. Both Tigers losses were at the hands of teams in our expanded top 100, including a 42-41 overtime loss to five-star quarterback Jared Curtis and Nashville Christian. The Ensworth defense is full of Division I commits and this week the Tigers take on another five-star in Georges, the No. 2-rated running back in the Class of 2027. Georges rushed for 293 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-35 win over McCallie earlier this season. Ensworth also beat McCallie 20-10.

Dunham has four sacks and is headed to Notre Dame while Portis is a Miami commit just like his father Clinton with three interceptions.
