Zillah has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Brewster Bears at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Two weeks ago, Zillah got the win against College Place by a conclusive 61-39.
Meanwhile, Brewster put another one in the bag last Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 67-42 margin over Reardan. 67 seems to be a good number for Brewster as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Brewster found their leader in underclassman Pepper Boesel, who scored 30 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Boesel has scored at least 25% of Brewster's points. Another player making a difference was Paige Wulf, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Zillah now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Brewster, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
