Basketball Recap: Jewish Community Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Jewish Community hadn't done well against The Bay School recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Jewish Community Wolves managed a 37-33 win over The Bay School Breakers. While the Wolves didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Jewish Community, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.5 points per game. As for The Bay School, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jewish Community won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Making Waves Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for The Bay School, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Drew at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. The Bay School has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
