Winters is 1-8 against the Trojans since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Winters Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Durham Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Winters will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Tuesday, Winters didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Bears, but they still walked away with a 45-39 victory.
Jordan Tucker was nothing short of spectacular: she scored 25 points. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Maci Dodic was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Durham came up short against the Bears on Thursday and fell 48-36.
Winters pushed their record up to 16-5 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Durham, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.
Winters was able to grind out a solid win over the Trojans in their previous matchup back in January, winning 44-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Winters since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
