Westmont had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Rochelle Zell Jewish Tigers a 14-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-0 last Monday.

Westmont's record is now 22-9. As for Rochelle Zell Jewish, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Westmont will head out to challenge Nazareth Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
