While Leigha Race delivered a dominant performance on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Morningside Academy. Race wasn't messing around, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and seven unearned) runs off six hits. The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with seven or more strikeouts.
