Pioneer won the last time they faced Whitney and things went their way on Friday too. The Titans blew past the Wildcats 13-1. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Pioneer and bumps their season record up to 13-12. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Whitney, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Pioneer will look to defend their home field on Saturday against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy at 10:00 a.m. As for Whitney, they will head out on the road to take on Western at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a 19-game losing streak.
