While losing is never fun, The City School can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 489th, while Kimberton Waldorf is ranked 236th).
Kimberton Waldorf's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ciara O'Hara, who scored 21 points along with three steals. O'Hara is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Camron Nixon, who scored five points along with nine rebounds and nine steals.
The City School's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Kimberton Waldorf, their win was their 21st straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1.
The City School will take on Community Academy of Philadelphia at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Community Academy of Philadelphia is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Kimberton Waldorf, they will head out on the road to challenge Villa Victoria Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
