Carlsbad has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Oceanside Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
On Tuesday, it was a hard-fought game, but Carlsbad had to settle for a 42-39 loss against Sage Creek.
Meanwhile, Oceanside struggled with three-point shooting accuracy on Tuesday (Torrey Pines was 21% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. Oceanside fell to Torrey Pines 42-36.
