Kaley Rohanna continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with three steals. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Waynesburg Central's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Davis, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds.
McGuffey lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Maura Janovich, who scored four points along with five rebounds. Libby Mallah was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Waynesburg Central's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.33 points. As for McGuffey, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.
Waynesburg Central will head out on the road to face off against South Park at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for McGuffey, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Brownsville. Brownsville and McGuffey are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
