The Uniontown Red Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Laurel Highlands Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Uniontown is looking to tack on another W to their two-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Last Thursday, Uniontown had to suffer through a rough 58-28 loss at the hands of McGuffey. While losing is never fun, Uniontown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while McGuffey is ranked 39th).
Meanwhile, Laurel Highlands put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 31-18 victory over Connellsville. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Laurel Highlands has scored all season.
Uniontown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Laurel Highlands, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
Uniontown was taken down by Laurel Highlands 54-27 when the teams last played back in January. Can Uniontown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
