Lick-Wilmerding found their leader in underclassman Lauryn Lacap, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Lacap scored 15 or more points. Avery Robins was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Convent of the Sacred Heart's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-12. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.0 points per game. As for Lick-Wilmerding, their victory bumped their record up to 16-6.

San Domenico will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Lick-Wilmerding, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Urban at 6:30 p.m. on January 29th. Urban will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 864th, while Lick-Wilmerding is ranked 262nd).
