Duncanville will add a chapter to what's become the best championship rivalry in high school football when the two meet Saturday for the UIL 6A Division 1 title.
The Mustangs and Panthers battle Saturday for the fifth time in six seasons at AT&T Stadium for the top prize in Texas. Kickoff is schedule for 3 p.m. Duncanville won last year's meeting while North Shore took the previous three.
Duncanville (13-1) suffered its only loss in late October to Class 6A Division 2 finalist

The 2018 championship matchup between North Shore and Duncanville was an epic battle, featuring nine lead changes with the Mustangs leading 29-20 to start the fourth quarter. The Panthers reeled off 10 straight points to lead 30-29 with just under 10 minutes remaining. The game would come down to a North Shore 45-yard Hail Mary from Dematrius Davis to A.J. Carter in the corner of the end zone that was upheld by the first instance of replay in the Texas playoffs.

Kevin Ford, the top sophomore recruit in the state. The Panthers give up an average of 12 points per contest.
North Shore counters with its own offensive quartet in junior running back
D’Andre Hardeman Jr. (215 carries, 1,584 yards, 21 TDs) and junior signal caller
Kaleb Bailey, who has thrown for 2,965 yards and 33 scores along with 650 yards rushing and 14 more TDs. Bailey's two favorite targets are
Terrence Guillory II (48 catches, 882 yards, 9 TDs) and
Dorian Barnes (47 catches, 803 yards, 9 TDs).
The Mustangs put up more than 44 points per game while allowing 15 per contest. North Shore's
Devin Sanchez, the No. 1 junior cornerback in the nation, helps anchor the defense.
