The Franklin County Seahawks suffered their biggest  defeat since December 16, 2023 on Thursday. They were the victim of a  rough 65-42 defeat at the hands of Bozeman. While losing is never fun, Franklin County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings  (they are ranked 414th, while Bozeman is ranked 182nd).
 Several Seahawks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Lonnie O'Neal, who  scored four points along with six  rebounds and five  steals.  Sadiq Jones was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points along with two  steals.
 Bozeman got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Noah Gray out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and 11  rebounds. Gray is on a roll when it comes to  rebounds, as he's  now  pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lincoln Patterson, who  scored 17 points.
 This is  the second loss in a row for Franklin County and  nudges their season record down to 10-9. As for Bozeman, the  win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.
 Franklin County will be playing at home against North Florida Christian at 7:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Bozeman, they will head out on the road to  square off against  North Bay Haven Academy at 2:15  p.m.  on Saturday. North Bay Haven Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 192 points over their last three games.
