East Noble is a perfect 10-0 against Bellmont since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Braves at 7:00 p.m. East Noble is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
East Noble is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat New Haven 59-21. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won six matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.
Rylee Biddle was his usual excellent self, rushing for 80 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries, while also throwing for 166 yards and three TDs. Lucas Niman was another key player, rushing for 107 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 11 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Alex Scott, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was East Noble's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Ayden Ley and Koen Quake, who each picked up 1.5 sacks apiece.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Bellmont's offense. They were outmatched by DeKalb and fell 55-0. The loss continues a trend for the Braves in their meetings with the Barons: they've now lost four in a row.
East Noble's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Bellmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
Friday's game might be decided in the trenches. East Noble has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 232.4 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Bellmont, though, as they've been averaging only 64.4 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
Everything came up roses for East Noble against Bellmont in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 75-7 win. In that contest, the Knights amassed a halftime lead of 62-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
