The CORE Butte Lynx will head out on the road to face off against the Anderson Cubs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
CORE Butte gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against Princeton by a score of 30-17.
CORE Butte got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alyssa Walton out in front who scored 10 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hollyn Merrick, who scored 8 points.
Meanwhile, Anderson was able to grind out a solid win over Modoc on Saturday, taking the game 56-48. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Anderson.
CORE Butte's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Anderson, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
