The Kaiser Cats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a rough 66-40 loss at the hands of Rialto. Kaiser has struggled against Rialto recently, as their match on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Carrington Davis was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 41 points and 14 rebounds for Rialto. That makes it six consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least a third of Rialto's points. Another player making a difference was Yamileth Perez, who scored seven points along with 13 rebounds and three steals.
Kaiser has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Rialto, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kaiser will challenge Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eisenhower will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Rialto, they will head out on the road to face off against King/Drew at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. King/Drew has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
