On Tuesday, the Harbor Pirates's game was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 42-36 victory over Anzar. That's another feather in the cap for Harbor, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harbor to victory, but perhaps none more so than Julianne Sanguinetti, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Keili Carriere, who scored nine points.
Harbor is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Anzar, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Harbor will look to defend their home court on Thursday against KIPP San Jose Collegiate at 6:30 p.m. Anzar will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Summit Shasta at 2:00 p.m. on January 20, 2024.
