The St. Lucy's Regents lost against the Chino Hills Huskies on January 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. St. Lucy's was beaten by Chino Hills 84-13. St. Lucy's was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-5.
Kira Carroll was St. Lucy's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Kate Campbell held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.
St. Lucy's dropped their record down to 10-13 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.7 points per game. As for Chino Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.
St. Lucy's won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Packinghouse Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on January 25th. Hopefully Packinghouse Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Thursday. As for Chino Hills, they will be playing at home against Rancho Cucamonga at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
