Haskell had lost five straight, but after bumping their record up to 12-10 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They never let the Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Considering the Haymakers have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Chouteau-Mazie, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-8 record. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but Haskell's pitcher proved too tough.

For Chouteau-Mazie's part, Rylee Detweiler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits.

Haskell has already played their next contest, a 6-1 defeat against Oktaha on the 18th. As for Chouteau-Mazie, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-0 victory against Rejoice Christian on the 16th.
