The King's Academy entered their tilt with Cornerstone Prep Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Cougars 9-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-3 last Thursday.

Davis Windham spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Hayden Beasley, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dominick Hopkins, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

The King's Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Cornerstone Prep Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
