The Shadow Hills Knights stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Poly, posting a 54-27 victory at home. The victory was nothing new for Shadow Hills as they're now sitting on six straight.
It was another big night for Victoria Hyatt, who scored 24 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Hyatt is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylah Archer, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Shadow Hills pushed their record up to 22-4 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Poly, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-18.
Shadow Hills won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Aztecs at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th. Palm Desert will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 575th, while the Knights are ranked 103rd). As for Poly, they will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Paloma Valley and the Bears are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
