The Mira Mesa Marauders had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.8 points), and they went ahead and made it 11 on Friday. They blew past Patrick Henry 48-23. Given Mira Mesa's advantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 404th, while Patrick Henry is ranked 829th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 It was another big night for  Ivorii Seals, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and ten  steals. She has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last 14 times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alyssa Otero, who  scored 11 points along with five  rebounds and five  steals.
 Mira Mesa has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 13 of their last 14 matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record  this season. As for Patrick Henry, they dropped their record down to 9-19 with that  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Mira Mesa will take on Crawford at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hopefully Mira Mesa focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 23 on Friday. As for Patrick Henry, they will face off against Sage Creek at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
