It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lambert can now relate to. They fell 6-3 to the Carrollton Trojans on Monday. The Longhorns' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Olivia Cantarutti made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Yi, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Lambert's loss dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Carrollton, their victory bumped their record up to 23-5.
