The Dadeville Bearcats were the 64-37 winner over the Pleasant Hope Pirates when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Dadeville fell to the Pirates 51-45. Dadeville has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
Several Bearcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chayse Coose, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. Aidan Jarman was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Dadeville's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Pleasant Hope, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
Dadeville will be playing at home against the Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pleasant Hope, they will head out on the road to square off against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
