The third road game was the charm for the Community Charter Titans, as they earned their first road win of the season. They took down Fulton 28-13 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Community Charter also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.
Community Charter can attribute much of their success to Jennifer Barba, who scored 14 points. Jazmin Figueroa was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Community Charter's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Fulton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Community Charter will take on Lakeview Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Lakeview Charter focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday. As for Fulton, they will play host again and welcome East Valley, where tip off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Valley's defense has only allowed 28.5 points per game this season, so Fulton's offense will have their work cut out for Fulton.
