 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Tyler Stoops, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run. Another player making a difference was  Tory Hampton, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Village Christian has  been performing  well recently as they've  won eight of their last ten matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-7-1 record  this season. As for Brentwood School, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with that  win, which was their sixth straight  at home.
