Richland won the last time they faced Penns Valley Area and things went their way on Friday too. The Richland Rams walked away with a 47-40 victory over the Penns Valley Area Rams. The win made it back-to-back victories for Richland.

Richland's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kiya Wise, who went 5 of 12 en route to 16 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Lanie Marshall, who posted 13 points and three blocks.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ellie Romig, who put up ten points and six rebounds. That's the most boards Romig has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Elle Dinges, who earned ten points and six steals.

Richland's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Penns Valley Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Richland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-52 defeat against Bishop Carroll on the 23rd. Penns Valley Area has also already played their next matchup, a 70-23 win against Bellefonte on the 23rd.
