Meanwhile, Riverstone International stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Notus 71-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Riverstone International has posted since December 9, 2023.
Riverstone International's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amer Sangha, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. That's the first time this season that Sangha pulled down eight or more rebounds. Jason Koval was another key contributor, scoring 23 points.
Centennial Baptist bumped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.7 points per game. As for Riverstone International, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
