Quincy is 3-0 against Williams since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Quincy Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Williams Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Quincy has three straight victories, Williams has 26 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Last Tuesday, Quincy blew past Maxwell, posting a 62-11 win. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Quincy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Madeline Blaufuss, who posted 11 points and six steals, and Skylar McCarthy, who scored two points in addition to 12 boards, six assists, and five steals. McCarthy has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more rebounds the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Peay, who put up seven points.
Quincy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Williams played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Hamilton and fell 56-23. The Yellowjackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-4.
Quincy will need focus on slowing down Jennifer Vega Jimenez, one of several Williams players who made an impact when they last played. She had nine points. Giselle Torres Salazar was another key player, putting up six points.
Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Quincy, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Quincy against Williams in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, as the team secured a 55-9 victory. Does Quincy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Williams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
